We did the critical joint in the middle for the raft....
- The picture above show din and nabil holding the u.p.v.c pipe that we bought from a hardware shop at Bukit Jambul.
- We bought 2 sizes of pvc pipe..... 1 with the 100mm diameter ( 7 foot long ) and the other 50mm diameter ( 4 Feet Long)...
- The 100mm dia, is for the raft base and the 50mm dia. is for the dome part.
This picture is showing Nabil is cutting the 50mm diameter p.v.c into 3 pieces of length, with each measuring 40mm in length....
This picture is showing Din is cutting the 100mm dia. pvc into 100mm in length ( 3 pieces)
This picture is showing azim is burning the center point of the pvc.. This is to compress it and than combine all three pieces..
This picture is showing that Din drilling wholes in the middle point..... this is to make the bolt and nut joint.
Mean while this picture is showing Nabil is connecting all 3 pieces into one.
The last picture is showing the main connector for the base after it is done....
